Repeat Prescriptions

Please request your repeat prescription at least 72 hours before you require your medication. Prescriptions can be delivered to the village chemist, a chemist of your choice, or may be collected from the surgery.

Prescriptions Direct

Prescriptions can be provided for a six monthly period at a time and collected directly from the village pharmacy. Please ask the receptionist for further details if interested.

Please allow 72 hours, excluding weekends and Bank Holidays, for your request to be processed. 

REPEAT MEDICATION REQUESTS -

CHANGE WITH EFFECT FROM MONDAY 9TH JANUARY 2023

With effect from MONDAY 9TH JANUARY 2023 we are no longer able to accept repeat medication requests via the telephone.  This change has been made for patient and staff safety.  You can request your medication as follows: 

1. By placing your green slip, with the items ticked, in the post box at the practice 
2. By completing one of the repeat medication request slips available at reception 
3. By using the NHS App or other online platform, such as patient access. 
4. By emailing somicb.dispensary.dunstersurgery@nhs.net.
5. Asking your pharmacy if they are able to request your repeat medication on your behalf.
