Smear tests

An invitation to attend for a smear test will be sent to all women aged 25 – 65 who have not had a hysterectomy. This test is normally carried out by one of the Practice Nurses.

We are changing our system of recall for monitoring long term conditions and the clinics mentioned above- please be aware that we are moving over to a system of birthday month reviews- you will be attending the surgery for a holistic review of your long term conditions during your birthday month- you will no longer receive a recall letter inviting you.
